Position of the Week: Snow Angel

A naked illustrated couple in a seated position. One is on their knees and elbows, the other is sat between their legs, facing towards their butt.

Been naughty or nice this year? With this sexy Snow Angel position, you can be both! It might not be snowing where you are, but you’ll be eager to run inside and get cosy with your lover after reading this.

How?

Ask your partner to lie on their back, with their legs wide apart. Climb on top of them, facing away, and slide down onto their penis (if they have one) with your anus or vulva. Then, lie forward and assume the star-angel shape: voila!

If your partner doesn’t have a penis, either lube up both of your vulvas for super-slippery and sensory contact – or, if you’re both into it, ask your partner to wear a strap-on. (Never tried a strap-on before? No worries; we’ve got plenty of tips for newbies.)

Your partner can then wrap their legs around you, pulling you in close and deepening the penetration. You can also prop yourself up your elbows rather than having your arms out in the traditional snow-angel position; this will make it easier to rock yourself back and forth.

Enhance this position

Why?

It’s so easy to slide into position after warming up with a 69, allowing you to enjoy the sensation of simply rubbing your sweet spots together. And, if you do like penetration, the Snow Angel gives you a fresh angle and firm G-spot stimulation.

The bottom partner also gets an exceptional view of the top partner’s bum and can watch all the thrusting and grinding action. Or they can get involved and caress the cheeks and rim with their fingers or a bullet vibe. Who knew making snow angels could be so devilishly fun?

Try

The top partner's bum is the real MVP tonight, so give it the attention it deserves with a cheeky spanking paddle.

Or, if you’re both keen, the lower lover can slide lubed-up anal beads in and out of their partner’s anus as they rock back and forth. One partner gets the pleasure of control; the other, double penetration. Festive!

Make it even easier

If you’re the bottom partner, you might find it tricky to keep your legs tight around your lover, but you can pop a cushion or position enhancer underneath your butt for extra support.

If you’re on top and find it difficult to get into position, turn the Snow Angel into a Reverse Cowgirl; because at Christmas, anything goes!

Instead of lying down on top of your partner, kneel either side of them and squat down onto them instead. This position still offers deep penetration, but with more control. The lower partner can also place a pillow under their bum for added comfort.

For extra support, lean forward and place your palms on the floor in front of you as you grind on your partner. Alternatively, could also place a chair over your partner’s legs and hold onto it as you lower yourself down onto them.

Make it even better

Snow Angels might be icy cold, but you can warm things up with a little temperature play. Try coating both your genitals in warming lube to add extra heat – or tingling lube, for a cooling thrill.

If you like it frosty, chill a glass butt plug or dildo in the freezer. These cold toys are sure to get you gasping; temperature changes offer intense stimulation and can be used to tease both internal and external nerve endings (always carefully check the temperature of your toy against your hand before you play).
